🛏 Bedrooms
  • Strip all beds — sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers
  • Remake all beds with fresh linens
  • Fluff and arrange pillows
  • Check under beds for forgotten items
  • Wipe nightstands and lamps
  • Vacuum or sweep floors
  • Empty trash cans
  • Check closets — hangers straight, guest items removed
  • Dust ceiling fans and light fixtures
  • Check smart lock battery level
🛁 Bathrooms
  • Clean and disinfect toilet (inside and out)
  • Scrub shower / tub
  • Clean sink and faucet
  • Wipe mirror — streak free
  • Replace hand soap and body wash
  • Restock toilet paper (min. 2 rolls per bathroom)
  • Replace used towels with fresh set
  • Clean floor — sweep and mop
  • Empty trash and replace liner
  • Check hair dryer and toiletry basket
🍳 Kitchen
  • Wash all dishes, pots, and utensils
  • Wipe down stovetop and oven exterior
  • Clean microwave inside and out
  • Wipe all countertops and backsplash
  • Clean coffee maker — empty grounds, wipe exterior
  • Restock coffee, tea, sugar, creamer
  • Check and restock cooking oil, salt, pepper
  • Clean and organize refrigerator — remove guest food
  • Wipe cabinet fronts and drawer handles
  • Empty trash and replace liner
  • Sweep and mop floor
  • Run dishwasher if needed
🛋 Living Areas
  • Straighten and fluff sofa cushions
  • Fold and replace throw blankets
  • Dust all surfaces and shelves
  • Wipe TV remotes with disinfectant wipe
  • Vacuum rugs and upholstered furniture
  • Check TV and streaming — logged out of guest accounts?
  • Empty trash
  • Check WiFi router — lights normal
🔑 Entry & Exterior
  • Sweep front entrance and porch
  • Wipe front door handle
  • Check smart lock — test code works
  • Check outdoor cameras — angles correct
  • Remove any trash or items left outside
  • Check parking area is clear
✅ Final Walkthrough
  • All lights off in unoccupied rooms
  • Thermostat set to between-stay hold temp
  • All windows and doors locked
  • Guest welcome note / house manual in place
  • Noise monitor active
  • No personal items or previous guest belongings remain
  • New guest access code confirmed and sent
  • Take photos for your records
